This search option allows you to find providers that offer the type (category) of program or course you are interested in.
The first page of this search is illustrated below:
The selection criteria available on this page are as follows:
- Enter a program keyword - Enter a word which most closely identifies the type of training you seek and click 'Go'. If a match is not found, try a more general term. For example, if looking for training on designing Web sites, you may want to first try the keyword "web".
If this does not return any programs or courses, try to broaden your search by using the keyword "computer" and see if any of the results could work for you. You may want to enter partial words to find all forms of a word (for example, 'nurs' will find both 'nurse' and 'nursing').
- Select an Area of Study - Choose an area of study from the list to begin to identify the type of training category you are interested in.
Upon entering a keyword and clicking 'Go', or selecting an area of study from the list, a list of program categories which match this criteria will be displayed. A sample results page is illustrated below:
Simply click on the underlined training category to see a list of providers which offer related training programs or courses. This provider list page is illustrated below:
The features and functions of the Program Provider List page are as follows:
- Page x of x - This indicates the number of pages of results that were returned for your selections. Twenty-five providers are shown per page. Select a page number from the drop-down box to jump directly to that page.
- The orange title bar begins the results list. The list includes the provider's name, the training location(s) at which they teach and the type of provider they are. The solid arrow (
 )indicates that the list is currently sorted by that column.
A hollow arrow ( ) indicates that by clicking on it the list can be re-sorted by that column.
- Previous/Next - If more than one page has been returned (>25 providers), the "Previous" and "Next" links at the bottom of each page will allow you to navigate between pages.
Click on an underlined provider name to get more information about that provider.
