Total postings in Connecticut was 76,669 in June 2025, up from a May 2025 posting count of 71,104.

Connecticut nonfarm payrolls gained 6,300 jobs (0.4%) in June 2025, to a level of 1,718,700, while the state's unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.8% (preliminary, seasonally adjusted data). Nonfarm industry payrolls in the state are 7,700 (0.5%) positions higher than a year ago (1,711,000) and at new post-Covid highpoint. June included the return jobs from a major aircraft strike that was settled in late May (past survey week). The May 2025 preliminary job decrease of 6,500 (-0.4%) was lessened by 2,300 to a 4,200 jobs loss (-0.2%) on the normal monthly revision.
