Hours and Earnings: The December 2022 private sector workweek, not seasonally adjusted, averaging 33.5 hours, is lower by nine-tenths of an hour (-0.9%) from the December 2021 average (34.4). Average hourly earnings at $35.22 last month, not seasonally adjusted, were up by $1.23 (3.6%) from the December 2021 estimate of $33.99.
