Hours and Earnings: The private sector workweek, not seasonally adjusted, averaged 34.8 hours in May 2020, up one hour from the same month a year ago. Average hourly earnings at $34.26, not seasonally adjusted, were up $1.69 (5.2%) from the May 2019 estimate ($32.57).
