Hours and Earnings: The March 2022 private sector workweek, not seasonally adjusted, averaged 33.9 hours. This is down three-tenths from the March 2021 estimate (34.2). Average hourly earnings at $33.98, not seasonally adjusted, were up by $0.48 (1.4%) from the March 2021 estimate of $33.50.
