Hours and Earnings: The Private Sector workweek, not seasonally adjusted, averaged 33.9 hours in May 2019, up by one-tenth of an hour from the same month a year ago. Average hourly earnings at $32.59, not seasonally adjusted, were up $1.19 (3.8%) from the May 2018 estimate ($31.40).
